Assorted Film Projects

I have created a host of promotional work for films, with a focus on helping documentary filmmakers tell their story. Each one has been a pleasure to be involved with. Here is a selection of them.

Still The Enemy Within

I art directed all promotional material for this feature documentary. The lead image uses original badges used by campaigners during the British Miners’ Strike, which I photographed upon real coal. The merchandise utilises the title treatment.

Still the Enemy Within is a unique insight into one of history’s most dramatic events: the 1984-85 British Miners’ Strike. Thirty years on, this is the raw first-hand experience of those who lived through Britain’s longest strike.

Billy Bragg, Owen Jones and Mark Thomas attended up to the premiere.

Being Blacker

Being Blacker is a documentary by two-time BAFTA Award winning filmmaker Molly Dineen. The film tells the story of the renowned reggae record shop owner and music producer Blacker Dread, his extended family, friends and the wider Brixton community.

The Divide

From filmmaker Katharine Round, The Divide tells the story of 7 individuals striving for a better life in the modern day US and UK – where the top 0.1% owns as much wealth as the bottom 90%. By plotting these tales together, the film uncovers how virtually every aspect of our lives is controlled by one factor: the size of the gap between rich and poor.
